TrackyPro is a great navigation utility for outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, skiing, driving, sailing, as well as golf, excursions, and geocaching. Provides information about where you were, where you are, and how to get to where you want to be.
Information like altitude, speed, and distance is available at any moment. You can store the location of you favorite points of interest (POIs), e.g., home, nice view points, etc. Tracky draws the course you are traveling, together with previously recorded and downloaded courses. By projecting the courses onto your favorite maps from e.g. Google Earth or TerraExplorer, you can follow your tracks and navigate to any POI.
Tracky computes the distance to your POIs. so golfers can measure the length of there strokes or the remaining distance to the hole or any of the existing hazards. By using the advanced compass and exact position of your coordinates, you have a powerful tool for geo-caching.
Tracky supports several de facto standards for tracks, POIs, and maps. You can share these with your friends and you can even down and upload them to the many existing internet sites to profit from the wide availability of tools for editing and analysis.
TrackyPro offers additional functionality over the Lite version, including:
- Expanded dashboard with current latitude, longitude, altitude, speed, slope meter, G-force meter, compass, track length, distance and direction to home, and distance and direction to target.
- Satellite information is also included, with information about the connection status of GPS device, the position of satellites in view, signal quality of satellites, and compass.
